Participating in debates, especially online with students from other universities, has taught me the value of thorough preparation. I quickly realized that the more I prepared, the more confident I felt during the debate. I learned to anticipate counterarguments and devise strategies to counter them. This preparation also included understanding the context of the topic and gathering a variety of sources to support my claims. The collaborative aspect of preparing with my team was crucial, as we shared insights and resources, which made our arguments stronger. This experience has reinforced the importance of hard work and diligence in any academic endeavor.
