Participating in debates, especially with the added challenge of online formats, has significantly improved my time management skills. Preparing for debates involves extensive research, organizing arguments, and practicing speeches, all of which require careful planning. Balancing this preparation with my other academic responsibilities taught me how to prioritize tasks effectively and allocate my time wisely. I’ve learned to create schedules and set specific goals to ensure I’m fully prepared for each debate. This skill has been beneficial not just in my debate preparation but also in managing my overall academic workload.
